MEMBER SERVICES

SMIDO is a membership based organization that provides a variety of services to its members. The shape of these services is influenced by the demands of members. Additionally, SMIDO engages in public advocacy to bring broader awareness to the needs of Suame Magazine. Specific services offered to SMIDO members include:

Access to subsidized classes through Suame Magazine Automatics Training Institution

All SMIDO members have access to one free hour in the SMIDO Internet Café. After which, they receive a discounted hourly rate.

Opportunity to participate in the SMIDO-ZAIN closed user group (CUG)

All SMIDO members have the opportunity to join the SMIDO-ZAIN CUG which provides half-price calling to other members of the CUG.

Ability to have a business profile on the Internet

SMIDO members have the opportunity to have their businesses profiled on SMIDO’s website

Priority selection for the Engineering Contracts Programme

SMIDO members’ businesses are given priority for sub-contracting through the Engineering Contract Programme.
